The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Namibia (ICAN) has adopted three accounting frameworks to comply with the Namibian Companies Act namely:

• International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS);
• International Financial Reporting Standards for Small and Medium Enterprises (IFRS for SME’s);
• Namibian Generally Accepted Accounting Practice NAC001: Financial Reporting for Small and Medium Sized Entities;

SGA provides accounting services that involve the preparation of financial statements to various legal entities: companies, close corporations and individuals, as well as preparing accounting records for smaller entities from source documents.
